Exhibition Goal

The goal of this exhibition is to showcase OSS products, solutions and services that are available for the Public Sector. The exhibition will emphasise the readiness of the ICT industry to support the implementation of the Malaysian Public Sector OSS Programme and in so doing, will encourage increased growth in the local OSS industry and community.

The exhibition will exemplify quality and professionalism. It will be rich in content and showcase the diversity of OSS products, solutions and services, ranging from emerging technologies to mature and proven products. It will also demonstrate interoperability between OSS and proprietary products.

Exhibitors Participation

This OSS Showcase Exhibition comprises 40 booths, with 20 allocated for Public Sector displays and the remaining 20 booths available for Private Sector and OSS community participation.

Interested exhibitors for the OSS Showcase Exhibition must submit their applications to PIKOM (email: oky@pikom.org.my, fax: 603-79552933) by the end of the business day, 18 October 2009. Each exhibition application must include details of the OSS products, solutions and/or services that will be exhibited.

Exhibitors Guidelines

• Must showcase and demonstrate OSS products, solutions and/or services
• Can showcase interoperability solutions between OSS and proprietary platforms and products
• Must be attended at all times by 2 exhibitor representatives (dress code: office attire)
• Must fully utilize the exhibition booth’s dimensions (3 meter x 3 meter) using relevant collaterals and displays
• OSS solutions intended for Public Sector use are encouraged to be demonstrated
• Exhibitors are expected to demonstrate that they can satisfy the requirements for quality displays and exhibit stand demonstrations
• Demonstration equipment must not obstruct the passageway in common areas or disturb other exhibitors
• Exhibitors’ booths must remain open and manned for the duration of MyGOSSCON 2009

Best Exhibitor Award

A panel of judges will determine one (1) exhibitor for the Best Exhibitor Award. The panel’s decision will be final with the winner announced during the closing ceremony of MyGOSSCON 2009.

4 November – Booth set-up
5-6 November – Conference and exhibition days
6 November – Presentation of Best Exhibitor Award
