Dr. Nor Aliah bte Mohd Zahri is the Deputy General Director of ICT MAMPU. She has had numerous experience in the government ICT sector. Before this she was the Director of ICT Policy and Planning Division, MAMPU (2001-2006), Head of Training and Innovation Unit in INTAN (1995-2000), Computer Manager in Department of Public Service (1989-1991), Senior Program Coordinator in INTAN (1987-1987), Computer Manager in Ministry of Primary Industries (1984-1987) and System Analyst in Department of Statistic (1978-1982). She did her Ph.D in Database & Natural Language at the University of London, her Masters Degree in Artificial Intelligence at the Brighton Polytechnic, her System Analyst Diploma at INTAN and also did her Business Economy Degree in Business Administration at Universiti Malaya.
Datuk Badlisham Ghazali is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) since January 2006, a Malaysian Government Agency that is responsible for the development and promotion of the National ICT Initiative called the MULTIMEDIA SUPER CORRIDOR or MSC MALAYSIA. As the CEO, Datuk Badlisham is responsible to lead and drive the Malaysian Government’s Vision 2020 of Transforming the Nation into a Knowledge-based Economy through the enablement, creation and utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) applications & services. This is to be accomplished via the creation of an ecosystem to support a sustainable local ICT industry, building a conducive environment for foreign ICT investment & participation, and promotion of greater utilization & creation of new services enabled by ICT for the greater public. The mission is to encourage the growth of ICT companies and position Malaysia as a global ICT player, one that will move from net importer and consumer of ICT services into a nation that is a hub as a net exporter of new services enabled by ICT. Datuk Badlisham was recognized as the PIKOM ICT Man of The Year 2008, Technology Business Review Award for Leadership in the ASEAN Information Technology Sector 2008 (ICT Development), Malaysian Business Leadership Awards 2009 ICT Sector. Prior to his appointment in MDeC, Datuk Badlisham was with HP Malaysia for 18 years where he was the Director and Country General Manager of HP Technology Solutions Group.
Timothy Ney is an expert on Open Source business models. As Linux Greenhouse co-founder, he conducts workshops for entrepreneurs and has consulted for governments in Chile, China, Korea and Spain. He was Executive Director of the GNOME Foundation and Free Software Foundation.
Michael Tiemann is a true open source software pioneer. He made his first major open source contribution over a decade ago by writing the GNU C++ compiler, the first native-code C++ compiler and debugger. His early work led to the creation of leading open source technologies and the first open source business model. 
Miguel Jaque is the Director of the National Spanish Competence Centre for IT Applications based on Open Source (CENATIC). He's an open source professional, Holder of Degree in Telecommunication and MBA. For the last ten years he has been involved in open source development for SMEs.
Christer Gundersen is the CEO of Norwegian competence center for free and open source software that is funded by the Norwegian government.
Paul Kangro, Chief Technology Officer - APAC, is responsible for providing technical leadership with regard to Novell's products and solutions to the market-place and working closely with product development to ensure market needs are meet. Paul also provides direction to major companies on strategic choices of data centre technology and is a regular presenter at industry and tradeshows. Prior to joining Novell in 2000, Paul spent 16 years in technical, sales, marketing and management assignments.
Ryusuke is an open source software (OSS) specialist with 10+ years of experience in systems design using MySQL and open source solutions. He is based in Japan with responsibility for MySQL education and consulting, covering all of Asia. In IPA Japan, he is also developing the OSS curriculum for Universities. Prior to joining MySQL, Ryusuke was Consultant at NRI (Nomura), working on enterprise systems design using OSS. He is the project lead of "OpenOLAP for MySQL" and co-founder of the Japan JBoss Users Group.
Daniel Ng is a passionate proponent of open source. He joined Red Hat in July 2007 with more than 23 years of experience in the technology industry. He is responsible for building the Red Hat brand in Asia Pacific, as well as identifying opportunities for the company's growth in the region. At Red Hat, he leads a team of professionals across the region including specialists in integrated marketing communications, e-marketing, and corporate communications.
Dr. Dzahar received an Honors Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University in 1984, and completed his PhD in 1988 in Australia. Dr Dzahar joined Microsoft in 2005 and has more than 26 years of professional experience in ICT and telecommunications. He started his career as a lecturer at the department of Computer Science, La Trobe University, and moved on to as a R&D engineer at Telecom Australia (Telstra) Research Laboratories. On returning to Malaysia, he was appointed as the R&D manager at Celcom and left the company as the Vice President for R&D and IT divisions. He subsequently worked at HP in Singapore, Vsource (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Object Innovations (M) Sdn. Bhd. in R&D, operations as well as leadership positions. 
Ray is a Technical Specialist in the Software Services Group within IBM with in depth knowledge and experience of IBM software and hardware and is a specialist in Lotus Collaboration Software. With over 20 years of experience in deploying and configuring IBM systems in all industry sectors for small, medium and enterprise customers Ray has a unique knowledge of what technology delivers value to ensure your business continues to be competitive and successful. Ray is an enthusiastic supporter of cost effective solutions for Small and Medium enterprises and has an active role in the Open Source community within IBM.
Alan Tong is the Research Director for IDC ASEAN. He manages a team of research analysts who focuses in telecommunications, personal computers, peripherals, software, and services markets in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. Prior to his ASEAN role he was the Senior Research Manager for Enterprise Applications in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) with specific interest in Enterprise Resource Management, Customer Relationship Management and Supply Chain Management. He has been engaged in a number of occasions to speak in the areas of ERM and CRM at software vendors events like customers' conference and product launch. Also he has been quoted in numerous occasions in the regional media such South China Morning Post and Strait Times. Alan just celebrated his 10th year anniversary with IDC.
Professor Dato’ Dr. Ibrahim Ahmad Bajunid is Deputy President / Deputy Vice Chancellor INTI-UC Laureate International Universities and Professor of Management, Education and the Social Sciences. Dr. Ibrahim is the First Director of the Regional Center for Educational Planning (UNESCO-RCEP), Al Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He was Professor of Management, Leadership and Policy Studies and the Founding Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at University Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR). He is the former Director of Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB) - The National Institute of Educational Management and Leadership.

Khairul Anuar Che Azmi is presently a Senior Intellectual Property & Commercialization Adviser at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Prior to joining USM, he was the Managing Partner of Messrs. Khairil & Co. He possesses more than 13 years experience as a legal practitioner, practicing in Malaysia and Australia. Khairul advises on matters relating to intellectual property rights, commercialization, offshore agreements, medico-legal, corporate legal & regulatory developments and other relating legal aspects. He is a Certified Legal Drafter of Royal Institute of Public Administration (RIPA) International London, Certified Arbitrator Malaysia Chapter and a Certified Professional Intellectual Property Manager (CPIPM) of Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). Khairul also acts as a Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR) of European Commission as well as the Lead Intellectual Property Consultant to Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). He also serves as a Director IXC Malaysia Berhad, a wholly owned company of USM and actively involves as speakers in the legal area of intellectual property, innovation and commercialization.

Mahendren Munisamy joined IBM Malaysia in April 2004 as part of the Virtual Innovation Center’s (VIC) WebSphere Technical Support team. He is currently assigned to the IBM Innovation Center as a WebSphere Technical Consultant and is primarily responsible for providing assistance to independent software vendors in porting their applications to IBM technology.
Mr. Tan Chin Luh received his First Class Honor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, majoring in Control Engineering, and his Master Degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Uwe Dippel is a Senior Lecturer with University Tenaga Nasional. A graduate in Electrical Engineering / Communications Technologies, Uwe Dippel has extensive experience in Information Systems, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems and related Security Aspects. He has served the German Ministry for Research and Technology; held several senior positions in Broadcasting and served the European Patent Office in The Hague (The Netherlands). Since 2000 he enjoys sharing his experience with Malaysian Students, and joined Uniten in August 2001. For the last years he has taught the elective subject Data and Computer Security, done some research on cryptography, and advocated Free and Open Source to all his students.
Lee Chuk Munn is a Technology Evangelist at Oracle. His main responsibilities includes helping customers, software vendors and partners to understand and implement new and emerging technologies. As a software developer for more than 15, Chuk's has extensive working experience in the areas of the desktop applications, JavaEE applications, web services, scripting, P2P and games. He also speaks in conferences like Java One, JAX, J-Fall, Sun Techdays, OTN, etc. Chuk has been programming since 1982 and in the Java language since 1996, when he first joined Sun Microsystems in Hong Kong. He graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
Najib has been a strong supporter of Open Source Software for many years, particularly Drupal CMS. He is one of the founder of Drupal.my, Malaysia Drupal Community and Director of local web development house, Israk Technology Sdn. Bhd.(http://www.successideaweb.com). Been involve in Drupal web portal and intranet development for several government agencies and private companies.
He obtained B.Eng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Glasgow University in 1994. He continued his M.Sc study in Optical Electronic Engineering at University of Strathclyde and graduated in 1995. He then continue his study at PhD level at the same university and completed in 2000. His research interests are on computer and telecommunication network modelling using discrete event simulators, optical networking & coding and embedded system based on GNU/Linux for vision.

Normala Sharom was first appointed as a Systems Analyst with the Implementation and Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department in 1982. During her tenure of almost 28 years, she served several offices such as MAMPU, Public Service Department (JPA), and the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKLW). Currently she is the Director of the Information Technology Management Division of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). She holds a degree in Science (Mathematics) from USM and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the United States. Her experience include systems and project development, knowledge management, rural ICT project development and fund management for ICT projects.
Programme Consultant and software engineer with broad experience in managing, developing and implementing ICT for development projects using free and open source software and best practices in Asia-Pacific countries. He has extensively worked with various international and government agencies, private sector and civil society in this area.
Azhar Kassim Mustapha is the CTO of Nervesis Sdn Bhd. Nervesis delivers open source Identity Management System, which is called Gatekeeper, and an open source Business Intelligence System, which is called Vanilla. Azhar is a graduate of the highly prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA, where he received his Bachelor of Science and Master in Engineering degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. Azhar has a total of three approved Patents to his name (one in USA and two in Malaysia) - in the areas of communication & compression, speech recognition & hardware interpreter/translator technologies.

Adli is the Head of Malaysia CERT (MyCERT), a department at Cybersecurity Malaysia. He has been with the Malaysia Computer Emergency Response Team (MyCERT) since September 2006. He is in charge of CyberSecurity Malaysia’s Cyber999 Incident Response service and the Malware Research Centre. Adli is involved various global computer security initiatives such as the Forum of Incident Response Teams (FIRST), the Asia Pacific CERT (APCERT), the Anti-Phishing Working Group and the Honeynet Project. He has spoken and conducted training on various topics at conferences and seminars worldwide. In 2009, Adli was an honoree of the Asia Pacific ISC2 Leadership Achievements (ISLA) in the IT Security Practitioner category.
Errazudin holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science (Sofware Engineering) and works as Senior Software Engineer at Mimos Berhad, a Malaysian government research arm, in ICT and frontier technology. His job focuses on web application development, deployment, performance and stability. He has spoken at several meetups and conferences and has worked with various back-end and web technologies for almost 10 years.In his free time he loves to emulate Rafael Nadal’s swerving forehand on court.
Associate Professor Dr Ahmad Kamil Mahmood earned his Bachelor and Master degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, USA in 1986 and 1988 respectively. He later joined UUM, Bank Negara Malaysia, Public Service Department and PETRONAS. He joined UTP, Tronoh, after 10 years in 1998 teaching courses for the Bachelor Degree in ICT and BIS. He earned his PhD in Information Systems in 2005 from the University of Salford, UK. With his research team, a number of journal articles and conference papers have been produced and published internationally. Currently, he is the CEO of KPerak INC Corporation, implementing the KPerak 2010 blue print while supervising 11 post graduate students.
Yap Wen Jiun, graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a Master of Science (Aerospace Engineering) and is currently lecturing in Multimedia University while pursuing his PhD in the field of UAV. He started his Android development since the day of Android 0.9 SDK beta by supervising final year projects and eventually submitted the application “3D Geometry Visualization” to the worldwide Android Developer Challenge 2. He is one of the core member of CodeAndroid Malaysia and has giving talks related to Android in events such as BarCamp and MOSC2010.
Winfred teaches graphic design and art at a local college. He has experienced life in an animation studio and thinks coffee tastes better with melted chocolate. He spends his free time writing, and also tries his best to make sense of the world around him. The coffee keeps the sandman away, and the chocolate helps him gain weight and become too self-conscious.

Tien Soon also has vast experience in the architectural design and implementation of enterprise portal solutions in the domains of knowledge management, e-learning, and school management, for enterprise and government sectors.
